“Trini Sweet (NoWhey)” is an infectious soca anthem that embodies the lively spirit and magic of Trinidad and Tobago – the birthplace of calypso, soca, chutney and the steelpan. The song celebrates the beautiful twin-island’s vibrant and diverse culture, its energetic Carnival atmosphere, unique culinary experiences and the warmth of its people. With the catchy hook “NoWhey”, the track sung by Dil-E-Nadan’s frontline vocalist Stephen Marcelle echoes the sentiment of visitors and locals alike, as the island’s unforgettable energy and spirit make it impossible to walk away. Whether you’re a Carnival veteran or new to T&T’s vibrant lifestyle, this track invites you to immerse yourself in the sweetness and joy of island life. “Trini Sweet (NoWhey)” is more than just a song—it’s an invitation to embrace the unapologetic sweetness of life in Trinidad and Tobago.

Bravo Taps, Machel, Patrice, Lyrikal, and Rupee for The Pineapple Riddim
47 Productions and Monk Music Unite to Deliver the Sweetest Soundtrack for Carnival 2025 Port of Spain, Trinidad – Carnival 2025 is about to get a whole lot sweeter! Two powerhouses of Caribbean music, 47 Productions and Monk Music, have teamed up to deliver The Pineapple Riddim – a smooth, feel-good project that’s set to dominate the 2025 Carnival season with its irresistible vibes.
This marks the first collaboration between Dwayne “DJ” Bravo’s 47 Productions and Machel Montano’s Monk Music, creating an exciting fusion of talent and vision. With a lineup featuring soca heavyweights Machel Montano (Wah We Doin), Patrice Roberts (Tun Up), Lyrikal (Carnival Meeting), and Rupee (My Kinda Gyal), the riddim promises pure vibes for the airwaves, fetes, and every Carnival lime.
Adding a refreshing twist is rising star 47Ronzy with her track Come Here, blending her signature Afrobeats sound with the riddim’s groovy soca vibes to bring an exciting dimension to the project.
Speaking about the project, Dwayne “DJ” Bravo, international cricket legend, recording artist, and Founder of 47 Productions, shared his enthusiasm for the project: “This project is truly special because it represents the first-ever collaboration between 47 Productions and Monk Music. Machel is an icon, and to work alongside him and his team on this riddim is a dream come true. The Pineapple Riddim represents everything we love about Carnival – vibes, energy, and a celebration of culture. It’s been an honour to collaborate with other Soca greats like Patrice, Lyrikal, and Rupee, while also giving 47 Ronzy a platform to showcase her unique talent. This riddim brings something fresh yet deeply rooted in the essence of Trinidad Carnival, and I’m proud of what the team at 47 Productions has created. We can’t wait for everyone to experience it!”
Sharing his thoughts about the collaboration, Machel Montano said, “I’m thrilled to collaborate with Dj Bravo because we both share the same passion for greatness and the Pineapple Riddim is a testament to that! Great songs on a catchy bouncy beat with some of the greatest in the Soca Game. Dwayne is also committed to embracing young upcoming talent and giving them the opportunity to shine amongst the stars. This is the Monk Music philosophy as well and we see this as the beginning of a great partnership and vision for entertainment and beyond! “Wah We Doin” is definitely one of my favorites of my 2025 Carnival contributions.”
